As autumn deepens, the Double Ninth Festival arrives. In recent days, more than 100 elderly residents at a nursing home in Dagze District, Lhasa City, enjoyed an ethnic cultural performance together; doctors from Cisongtang Community taught seniors how to prevent falls and choking; and volunteers from Dagmo Lhoba Ethnic Township in Linzhi City visited elderly people at home to teach them how to use smartphones. Recently, a variety of elder-respecting activities have been carried out in many parts of Xizang, enabling older people to feel festive care through warm companionship and thoughtful services.
